Pinellia tripartita
(aroid.org's Pin. tripartita page)
Nirvana for those of us in northern climates! Pinellia should be cold hardy to USDA zone 4.
Pinellia tripartita form nice clumps and flower freely. They will also multiply themselves with
no help from you. The whiplike spadix is much longer than
the spathe, curving up and out like a snake flicking its tongue in search of a tasty mouse.

Pinellia pedatisecta
Pinellia pedatisecta is another plant that forms nice clumps and spreads in your garden.
I appologize that I didn't get any photos of my plants this year, and I didn't notice any
inflorescences on them. Next year, I promise!
